Christian Hirsch – Senior System Engineer, Ixia

Christian is working within Telecommunication industry since 20 years.
He has an extensive knowledge in Mobile Network Architectures and current security threat methodologies. In the past he worked many years at Carriers with security vendors to develop solutions against cellular network based attacks. Today Christian is still deeply involved in most current topics in security field: Security testing, Cyber Range training and Lawful interception verification. He continues to stay on top of fundamental trends and disruptions, and examines new developments with a careful eye.

Thomas Müller – CEO, LokaSec AG

Nach seiner Ausbildung als Informatiker und ersten Berufserfahrungen im Netzwerkengineering, entwickelte sich Thomas Müller in Richtung Netzwerk sowie IT & Cyber Security weiter und vertiefte diese Spezialisierung durch kontinuierliche Aus- und Weiterbildung in den entsprechenden Gebieten. Es folgten diverse Anstellungen in den Bereichen Software und Security sowie als technischer IT Projektleiter für Grossprojekte bei einem internationalen Unternehmen.

Nach einer zweijährigen Tätigkeit als Netz- und Security Consultant bei einem führenden Beratungsunternehmen entschloss sich Thomas Müller zur Gründung der Firma LokaSec AG und erweiterte seinen Beratungsbereich um OSS spezifische Fragestellungen. LokaSec steht für pragmatisches und kundenorientiertes Consulting in den Bereichen Netzwerk, Security und OSS.

Paco Huerta – Senior Product Manager for Telco, Devo

He has more than 18 years of Telecommunications industry background, with a strong focus on the media sub-domain, and experience working for some of the top Telecom providers globally on large Transformation programs. More recently Paco has focused on Data Analytics solutions and their application in the Telco segment, and has worked at Devo for the last 2 years. Previously Paco was part of the  global Professional Services Portfolio leadership team in Ericsson, worked in  Hub Line Management for Ericsson and, before that, worked in Sales Engineering for several Consulting companies.

David Barton – CISO, StellarCyber

David Barton is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of the company. Barton brings to Stellar Cyber more than 20 years of experience in security leadership roles across a variety of industries, including telecommunications, healthcare, software development, finance and government. Prior to Stellar Cyber, he was Chief Operating Officer for 5Iron. Before 5Iron,  he spent three years as Chief Information Security Officer for Forcepoint, responsible for securing the information and physical assets of Forcepoint on a global scale. Barton spent three years building and leading the international security team at Hireright protecting their customer data and intellectual property. Prior to that, he spent almost eight years as director of information security at AT&T/Cingular, based in Atlanta, Georgia, where he led efforts to protect over 80 million wireless subscribers. As group manager of security operations and engineering at Sprint/Nextel, he managed all security activities for application development, database architecture and enterprise policy and audit compliance, in addition to building a world-class white-hat security team. Barton holds an executive MBA from University of Missouri, Kansas City, a B.S. in management information systems from Simpson College and a CISSP certification.

Ray Krug – Solution Architect, Netscout

Ray Krug, currently focuses on defining solution architectures, product positioning, and pre-sales enablement in the context of Private and Public Cloud technologies and Unified Communications. With more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, originally a software developer, then network engineer, he transitioned into pre-sales for performance management solutions. Ray  has been with NETSCOUT for 12 years joining as part of the Psytechnics acquisition as a specialist in Unified Communications and Voice and Video performance management.  Prior to this Ray held pre-sales roles in Intelliden (now IBM), Orchestream (Oracle), Concord Communications (now CA)


Klaus Degner – Geschäftsführer, Allegro Packets GmbH

Klaus Degner ist Geschäftsführer und Mitgründer der Allegro Packets GmbH. Er leitet das Product Management und ist u.a. für die Forschung und Entwicklung zuständig. 

Hendrik Scholz

Hendrik Scholz has 20 years of experience in communication networks.

Originally a software developer and architect for VoIP infrastructure he transitioned into the network monitoring space where he managed the Acme Packet (now Oracle) network monitoring software (‘Palladion’). Prior to joining 128 Technology Hendrik was a Senior Product Manager at Oracle responsible for the network monitoring and analytics portfolio.

At 128 Technology Hendrik helps customers transitioning their legacy networks into networks speak the language of sessions as Evangelist and Technical Consultant.
